Payment due dates
An Excel formula exercise from Formuladrill. Solve it with a formula bar on a live sheet in your browser, and it is checked the moment you submit.
The task
Each invoice is due 30 days after its invoice date. Fill C2 and C3. Excel stores dates as day numbers, so you can add days directly.
What this exercise teaches
Because dates are numbers, subtracting two dates gives the days between them.
A hint if you get stuck
A date is just a number underneath. Adding 30 moves it 30 days forward.
