Running total
An Excel formula exercise from Formuladrill. Solve it with a formula bar on a live sheet in your browser, and it is checked the moment you submit.
The task
Fill C2 to C5 with the running total of sales: each cell adds up all sales from the first week down to that row.
What this exercise teaches
A half-locked range such as $B$2:B5 grows as the formula is copied, which is the classic running total.
A hint if you get stuck
SUM($B$2:B2) locks the start of the range and lets the end move as you copy down. Adding the cell above to this row works too.
