A region total that misses a row
An Excel formula exercise from Formuladrill. Solve it with a formula bar on a live sheet in your browser, and it is checked the moment you submit.
The task
The totals per region in F2:F4 should add up to the grand total in F5, but they do not. One SUMIF covers the wrong rows. Find it and fix it.
What this exercise teaches
A check total such as F5 is the quickest way to catch a range that slipped. When the parts do not add up to the whole, one of the parts is wrong.
A hint if you get stuck
Compare the ranges in the three SUMIF formulas. One of them starts and ends a row lower.
