A lookup inside IFERROR
An Excel formula exercise from Formuladrill. Solve it with a formula bar on a live sheet in your browser, and it is checked the moment you submit.
The task
Return the price for the code in F1 with VLOOKUP. When the code is not in the table, the cell must show the text Not found instead of #N/A.
What this exercise teaches
VLOOKUP returns #N/A when there is no match and IFERROR swaps that for a friendly value. Wrap only the lookup, so a mistake elsewhere in a bigger formula still shows up as an error.
A hint if you get stuck
IFERROR(the lookup, "Not found"). Keep FALSE inside the VLOOKUP for an exact match.
