Share of tasks done
An Excel formula exercise from Formuladrill. Solve it with a formula bar on a live sheet in your browser, and it is checked the moment you submit.
The task
From Marco, the PMO lead: "For the status meeting I need the share of tasks marked Done for each project, in F2:F4 as a percentage. The task list keeps growing, so count the tasks with formulas, do not type the totals."
What this exercise teaches
A completion rate is a ratio of two counts, and both must come from the same list so new rows flow through. Typing 4 as the number of Apollo tasks is the mistake this replaces.
A hint if you get stuck
Done tasks for the project: COUNTIFS on project and status. All tasks for the project: COUNTIF on project. Divide the first by the second and lock the ranges with $.
